Your Rights Explained

At all times before and after the exclusion:

  • You have a right to EXPLAIN the events in your own words
  • You have a right to say what CAUSED these events
  • You have a right to be LISTENED to by your teachers
  • You have a right to write a STATEMENT about what happened
  • You have a right to ATTEND the Governor Meeting to tell them what happened too

You can't be excluded for:

  • Things that other students did
  • Bad grades
  • Wearing the wrong uniform (on occasion, not frequently)
  • Being late (on occasion, not frequently)
  • Your parent’s actions
  • Being bullied and the school wants to protect you by keeping you out of school
